Whether you are an active-duty servicemember or a student veteran, Southern New Hampshire University will help you work towards your degree. Dedicated admission, financial aid and benefit resources are just the beginning. As a college for veterans, SNHU will help you connect with your peers, advisors and professors to ensure success in your academic career.
Southern New Hampshire University is a traditional, non-profit, private university, but not a typical one. As a student, you have the flexibility of pursuing your education as a full-time day student on-campus in Manchester, or through our evening, weekend and online courses offered at one of our five regional centers. With roughly 3,000 students on-campus, and the resources available from a larger institution, just one visit to campus and you’ll learn what makes SNHU truly special – the friendly, welcoming community of people who go out of their way to make you feel at home, and to help you succeed.
We understand the value of your military experience, and we evaluate it as part of the admission process, along with your previous academic achievements. Veteran students apply through SNHU’s Office of Transfer Admission whose job it is to ensure you get full credit for military training and education, along with previous college credit.
SNHU is proud to be a member of the Service members Opportunity Colleges (SOC, SOCNAV, SOCCOAST), a General Education Mobile (GEM) school, a participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, part of the USAF Air University Associate-to-Bachelor Cooperative (AU-ABC) and part of the Navy College Program Distance Learning Partnership (NCPDLP).
